Charlie Schwan, an independent filmmaker from Austin, TX, wrote and directed a short-film titled "The Goodnight Show" which was recently selected to be featured at the up-coming 2018 TriBeCa Film Festival.

The film's soundtrack is entirely Staehely-written, comprised of four songs by Al and one song by his son, Christian. It includes three unreleased songs by Alβ€”"Mercy of the Moon," "Wish I'd Said Be Happy," and "Long Legged Woman"β€” which were written and recorded during Al's career as a solo-artist in the 1970s. "Wish I'd Said Be Happy" features the legendary vocalist group, The Blackberries.
